Donald F. Schimpf, 93, of the New Washington-Sulphur Springs area passed away on Thursday June 30, 2022 at Altercare of Bucyrus. Donald was born October 3, 1928 in the Sulphur Springs area to the late Clarence A. and Catherine E. (Feichtner) Schimpf. He was married November 16, 1957 to Oneata (Smith) Schimpf who survives. Donald is also survived by son Michael of New Washington and daughters Karen Schimpf of New Washington and Nancy (Ev) Maxfield of Morral, OH; grandchild Bailey Maxfield; and brother Walter (Alice) Schimpf. Donald was preceded in death by brothers Luther and Robert as well as sisters Helen Crum, Lois Schulze, and Dr. Alice Schimpf.

She is also survived by daughters Sarah Lewis and Amanda Johnson; several grandchildren, step children Carrie Dible Reese, Tara Dible Breinich, and Richard Frederick Dible; brother Eric Johnson, sisters Sheila Hart and Serena Locke; step mother Edna Johnson and her family; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was married November 8, 1957 to James Albert Richardson who preceded her in death on December 12, 2016. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Edward and Lloyd as well as sisters Alma Ralph and Eleanor Jewell.

Volkmer and Nancy (Fawley) Volkmer who survives. He was married May 24, 1975 to Nancy L. (Brause) Volkmer who preceded him in death on April 18, 1985.
