Biography: Timothy C. Volkmer, 68 of rural Bucyrus went to be with his loving wife Nancy on Friday June 10, 2022 while at home.  Tim was born November 26, 1953 in Bucyrus to the late Murray C. Volkmer and Nancy (Fawley) Volkmer who survives.  He was married May 24, 1975 to Nancy L. (Brause) Volkmer who preceded him in death on April 18, 1985.   

In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by daughters Amy Cover and Emily (Chad) Bair; grandchildren Marissa and Austin Bair, and Aubrey Volkmer; 6 great grandchildren; sisters Wendy Tierney and Robbin Johnson; brother in law Joe Dewiel; sister in laws Janel Brause and Ellen (Bob) Leonberger; brother in laws Al Brause and Brian (Sue) Brause; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Tim was preceded in death by wife Nancy, father Murray, sister Peggy Sue Dewiel, and brother in law Jim Brause. 

Tim graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1972 and retired from the Timken Company in 2008 after 31 years.  He was a member of the Bucyrus Shrine Club and enjoyed motorcycle trips on his Harley Davidson. 

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating, burial will follow in Brokensword Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Shriner's Hospital through the funeral home.
