We are so sorry for your loss, we did not know John, but we are very good friends with his daughter Kathy. I can know in my heart how amazing of a man he was, just by how sweet, sincere and humble his daughter Kathy is. Someone as special as Kathy had to be raised by a very loving father and mother. I pray that your family finds peace and comfort that only God can provide at a time like this. Kathy, Bob and their children are our family, which makes their family our family. You all will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers........ Love, Lisa xoxo

I am praying for all of you during this most difficult time. I sure am going to miss Uncle Doc. He was a great man and loved his family so very much! I\'ll never forget him coming to my wedding, family reunions that he worked so hard to get the family together. I remember him always checking on Dad and coming to see him the numerous times he was in the hospital in Princeton, Charleston, and Cleveland Clinic. We have lost one of the best men I knew... Praying for all of you! I know he is happy seeing all his loved ones. Love you Uncle Doc!!!

Dolores, kids, grand and great grand-kids, I am truly sorry to hear about Doc. He was my uncle and he was also my friend. I can recall when he lived with me, my mom and my sister while he attended the barber/beauty school in Columbus. He was more like a father to me (a pretty strict one, too)and I will always appreciate him helping me through some pretty tough years after I lost my dad at a very young age. I'll always remember him being there for me and my family when we needed his help and guidance. May he rest in peace.
