Biography:
Hattie L. Davis, 88, of Bucyrus passed away on Friday Dec. 5, 2014 at Heartland of Bucyrus. Hattie was born May 2, 1926 in Mitchellville, TN to the late William and Hassie (Slack) Dunn. She was married Dec. 7, 1946 to Willard H. Davis who preceded her in death on March 7, 1999. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Dixie Lee Yetter in 1990, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Hattie is survived by children Rodger (Julie) Davis; Darrell Davis; and Doris A. Russell all of Bucyrus; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Hattie lived most of her life in Bucyrus and last worked at Tecumseh in Marion prior to their closing. She was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse and enjoyed visiting with people, quilting, and babysitting.
At her request, there will be no formal funeral services. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society or Heartland Hospice through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
I have know your Mother for so many year it was like she was part of our Family so sorry for you guys loss but remember she is with the lord now and with Willard & Dixie having a good time up above looking down on you guys!
