Biography: Sonya M. Johnson, 57 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022 unexpectedly at home. Sonya was born September 29, 1964 to the late Hershell B. Johnson and Barb (Kirkham) Johnson who survives. She is also survived by daughters Sarah Lewis and Amanda Johnson; several grandchildren, step children Carrie Dible Reese, Tara Dible Breinich, and Richard Frederick Dible; brother Eric Johnson, sisters Sheila Hart and Serena Locke; step mother Edna Johnson and her family; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sonya graduated from Wynford High School in 1982 and last worked for Ondego as a Bus Driver. She loved yellow butterflies and flowers. The pride and joy of her life was her grandkids.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Frederick Dible officiating. The family wished to have those attending wear yellow as this was Sonya's favorite color. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions through the funeral home.
