Biography: Nathan Lee Banks, 14 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday November 26, 2020 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Nathan had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 since he was 1 year old. He was born November 27, 2005 in Galion to Robert Lee Ison Sr. and Jessica Ann Banks.  

In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents Barb and James Banks Sr. and Paternal grandmother Mary Ison; brothers Robert Lee (Chelsea Jordan Frazier) Ison II and Austin Michael Ison; sisters Haley Nicole (Michael Scentrs) Ison and Emily Nicole Banks; niece Audra Scentrs; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Vernon Ison. 
Nathan enjoyed watching T.V., especially cartoons and NASCAR with his father. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday December 2, 2020 in the Christian Life Fellowship with Rev. Manzo Surgener officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home who is assisting with arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
