Biography: Rick Davidson, 68 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday August 13, 2020 at home following a brief illness.  Rick was born May 19, 1952 in Franklin KY to the late Joseph D. and Mary Edith (Groves) Davidson.  He was married August 26, 1977 to Judy (Richardson) Davidson who survives.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Judy Ann Groves and brothers Jackie Groves and Jeff Davidson. 

Rick is also survived by children Rodney Davidson of Sycamore; Amanda Davidson and her partner Lisa Smith of Bucyrus; Travis (Sara) Cotsamire of Chatfield; and F. Jay (Sara) Cotsamire of Bucyrus; grandchildren Jocylen, Austin, and Desaria Cotsamire, Garrett Carter, and Andrew Black Jr.; brother Roger Davidson of Mansfield; sisters Penny Taylor, Bucyrus and Tracy Hall of Maryland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

Rick last worked at American Wire in Bucyrus as a machine operator.  He attended Bucyrus Schools and lived here most of his life.  Rick enjoyed tinkering with motors and working in his garage. 

At Rick's request there will be no formal services.  Memorials may be made to Home Care Matters Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com

I loved talking with Rick when he came in the hospital. He always put a smile on my face. I will miss him very much. Sorry for your loss.

He always liked to joke with us and had a smile for us even when he was ill. was a pleasure to know him. my condolences to his family and friend

Rest peacefully Rick. Your a a good man. To Rick's family accept my condolence's. Rick and I always talked when we crossed paths. Good guy!
