Biography:
Karen Irene Sites, 80 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday December 2, 2019 at Heartland of Bucyrus following a brief illness. Karen was born May 7, 1939 in St. Clairsville, OH to the late William Whiteman and Emma Martha (Dunn). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Gene Whiteman.
Karen is survived by daughter Lisa Coey of Canal Winchester, OH and son Dane Sites of Chillicothe, OH; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Linda Steward of Brokensword, OH and uncle Guy Dunn and his wife Ann of Bucyrus.
Karen was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Bucyrus area.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
