Biography:

Kathryn Scott, age 66, passed away surrounded by family August 15, 2019. Kathy was born to Jerry and Imogene (Freas) Pinson March 20, 1953 in Franklin Kentucky. Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Pinson; infant daughter, Jessica Lynn Scott; brother-in-law,  Mel Smith; mother-in-law, Anna Elmus Butler. 

Kathy is survived by lifelong companion, Ed Scott; children, Barbie (Sherman II) Jarvis, Chuck Scott, and Bruce Scott; brother, Daniel Pinson; sisters, Becky (Jim) Armbruster and Jenni Smith; grandchildren, Megan (James) Phillips, Lee (Kendra) Rumer, Keegan Scott, Chloe Lathrope; 5 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a graduate of Bucyrus class of 1971. She was an avid reader in her spare time. She enjoyed spending time with her family and rooting for the Cleveland Browns. Kathy was a member of the Church of Christ on Lincoln Ave in Bucyrus.

Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, August 18, from 2PM-4PM. Services are Monday at 11AM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be a meal provided at the Church following the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
